Temporary Part Time Finance Administrator

Our client, a leading company, is looking for an experienced Finance Administrator on a part time, temporary ongoing basis. The primary purpose of this job is to support the Finance Director in providing high quality financial information, ensure team objectives are achieved and maintain bank, ledger discrepancies and month end vehicle billing.

This role is working 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the vehicle purchase process and post purchase and sales invoices
  • Manage the monthly billing run for own book vehicles
  • Set up and pull payments via Direct Debit
  • Daily online bank account management and reconciliation
  • Provide analysis reports to management from the operational system
  • Payment of all administration and overheard invoices
  • Maintain and control company debtors
  • Raise sales commission invoices
  • Payment and recharge of PCN's
  • Maintain vehicle funding records
  • Assist with property services and office equipment contracts

Key Skills:

  • High numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, on all levels
  • Commercially focused
  • Organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A minimum of grade A to C in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Experience of interfacing operational and accounting systems - preferred but not essential
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Experience of financial accounting responsibilities, with involvement in key processes
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft package (Outlook, Excel) as well as CRM systems such as ACT or 365
  • Full driving licence
