Our client, a well-respected charitable organisation near Gerrards Cross, is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a full time basis, ASAP.

The salary is flexible and our client would consider offering £23k - £28k (£23k - £25k if you're not qualified - study support may be available / £27 - £28k if no study support required).

Duties include
· Ensure timely payments from Purchase Ledger via both BACS and computerised/manual cheques
· Maintain the authorising procedure for BACS
· Update and maintain 2500 active suppliers
· Ensure all relevant discounts are taken and payments made
· Ensure accurate input and matching of supplier invoices on the purchase control system, importing into exchequer and ensuring correct G/L codes have been used
· Ensure accurate inputting of supplier invoices exempted from the purchase orders and staff expenses
· Reconcile supplier statements
· Liaise with suppliers over disputes to resolve them
· Responsible for petty cash
The successful candidate will
· Have previous experience working in finance
· Have excellent IT skills
· Be a strong communicator
· Be able to work on their own initiative
· Be a good problem solver, cheerful, a team player, adaptable
