Our client, a private company who provide private training centres all over the UK for children who require extra tuition, is looking for a Tuition Centre Assistant Manager to join their team.

As an Assistant Centre Manager, you will be focusing on delivering 1st class tuition to the children but also driving the business forward, taking part in sales and marketing activities, customer service and general administration. You will be passionate about learning and development and want to work in a rewarding role where no two days are the same and for a company that looks after and rewards its staff.

There are 4 main areas that you'll be getting stuck into, although you can expect to find yourself doing absolutely all sorts of things not included below.

  • Sales & Marketing - You'll be raising awareness of your centre in the local community, visiting schools, attending events, building relationships with local educational establishments, running community events with schools and libraries
  • Leadership & Business - Right from the start of your career you'll be given responsibility for the business and for a team of part time staff, getting involved with HR, recruitment, etc
  • Teaching - Making sure that you're delivering an incredible standard of teaching
  • Customer Service - the whole company is dedicated to providing the absolute best service and highest standards

Who we're looking for:

  • Great ambassadors that are ambitious and driven with excellent communication skills
  • You'll be a graduate with a strong degree classification, and C or above in GCSE English and Maths
  • You may have some experience working with children already
  • Someone with the flexibility to work Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday (week days 11am - 8.15pm, Saturdays 9am - 6.15pm, Sundays 9am - 4.15pm)Don't worry, we're not expecting you to be an expert in all of these areas, so long as you feel you can make an impact and are eager to learn, our client provides fantastic training and development.

What our client offers:

  • Pay: Our starting salary for all Assistant Centre Managers is £23,000. When you become a Centre Director your salary will automatically increase to at least £26,000
  • Bonus - if you achieve your targets you can earn an additional £4400 each year, when you progress to Centre Director this will increase to £7480
  • Pension - our client will contribute up to 4% in a generous matching pension scheme, this increases to 8% when you become a Centre Director
