Our client, a family run business based in Stoke Poges, is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team to ensure the efficient running of the warehouse.

The role is Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5. Our client offers full training and career development.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Receiving and booking in all deliveries into the warehouse
  • Preparing goods to be sent to the factory and checking paperwork and quantities are correct
  • Movement of goods to and from the factory
  • Dispatching of all orders to the customer with efficient checking and dispatch of labels and delivery notes
  • Dealing with all courier related queries and managing the courier database and stock in the warehouse
  • Regular stock takes where needed
  • Using transfer machinery and software to produce transfer garments and dispatch
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and adheres to Health and Safety conditions at all times
  • Managing the stock on shelves
  • Managing and checking of sold items in the sold area
  • Assisting in the returns of goods to suppliers
  • Assisting in quality checks of garments prior to despatch
  • Picking and packing orders

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency a must
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel
  • Warehouse experience ideally
