Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Independent Financial Advisory firm seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career within a thriving firm.

Study support is also available in the future for those that wish to develop.

Office based for 6 months, then 1 day working from home.

Currently based in High Wycombe but moving to beautiful countryside offices in Hare Hatch, near Twyford in October/November. Parking available at both sites.

The Role

Working closely with the Paraplanner, Financial Advisers and Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning services to clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of paraplanning activities.
  • Gathering and maintaining client information and documentation.
  • Liaising with pension providers and conducting research to support client recommendations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of client reports and documentation for paraplanner review.
  • Preparing and distributing annual review packs.
  • Processing and monitoring new business submissions across various providers and investment platforms.
  • Tracking cases through to completion and providing regular updates to advisers and clients.
  • Maintaining accurate records, task management systems and new business registers.
  • Completing monthly valuation reporting.
  • Responding to client, adviser and provider enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all records are maintained in line with compliance requirements and internal procedures.
  • Using systems including Intelligent Office, Papercloud, FE Analytics, provider platforms and Microsoft Office.

Skills/Experience

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop within the industry.
