Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in High Wycombe, is seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader to help maintain operational excellence, ensuring customer orders are checked, complete, and ready for dispatch while supporting a motivated and high-performing team.

Rota: 6:00am to 2:30pm/2:45pm to 11:15pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support the Distribution team to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Ensure customer orders are complete, accurate, and ready for dispatch on time.
  • Carry out quality checks and ensure products are free from damage or defects before loading.
  • Coordinate the movement of products between sites and prepare overseas shipments.
  • Support drivers and customers with loading and collection activities.
  • Monitor stock locations and investigate any missing items.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Investigate service issues and work with the team to prevent repeat problems.
  • Conduct team meetings and appraisals while supporting training and development.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role.
  • Experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport, or distribution environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident leading, motivating, and developing teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible, reliable, and positive approach to work.
