We are supporting a well‑established business in Henley who are seeking a proactive and organised Finance Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance experience in a friendly and supportive environment. Full training will be provided, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day‑to‑day finance operations.

This position could be full or part time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Raise sales invoices and support the wider billing process.
  • Handle incoming customer calls, emails, and orders in a calm, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Collect quarterly meter readings to support accurate billing.
  • Maintain and update the active customer database.
  • Coordinate meter billing and invoicing cycles.
  • Carry out first‑stage debt chasing and liaise with customers regarding outstanding payments.
  • Log purchase invoices and match them against deliveries.
  • Provide additional support to the Finance Officer during busy periods.

About You

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and resolving queries.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Positive, friendly, and proactive in approach.
  • Experience in a finance or administrative environment is beneficial but not essential.
