e are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our client, a successful and growing organisation based in High Wycombe.
This is a varied and busy role supporting the smooth running of the People function and wider business operations. You’ll be involved in everything from onboarding new employees and maintaining records to coordinating recruitment activities, supporting workforce planning and providing day-to-day administrative support across the business.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support and is confident building positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
No two days will be the same, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator, PA, Office Manager or someone with exposure to HR administration who is looking for a broader and more varied support role.
This is a full-time, office-based position, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times.
Key Responsibilities
Resource & Team Support
- Support workforce planning activities across teams
- Monitor workloads and identify potential resourcing gaps
- Provide administrative support to managers and the wider People team
Employee Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other correspondence
- Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for new starters
- Manage employee changes and leaver processes
- Monitor holiday, absence and sickness records
- Ensure employee information is maintained accurately across internal systems
- Support compliance processes, including right-to-work checks
Recruitment Coordination
- Coordinate recruitment activity across the business
- Advertise vacancies and manage candidate communications
- Liaise with recruitment agencies where required
- Arrange interviews and prepare interview documentation
- Support the onboarding process for new employees
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Gather and prepare monthly payroll information
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits
- Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records
Training & Development Coordination
- Maintain training records and professional development logs
- Coordinate internal and external training programmes
- Manage professional membership renewals
- Support apprenticeship administration
- Assist with appraisal and development processes
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally with some exposure to HR administration
- Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proactive, positive and adaptable approach to work
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment
Benefits
- Salary of £30,000 – £35,000, depending on experience
