This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Inside Sales Executive to join our client’s small but growing UK office based in Reading. This role is vital in driving customer engagement, identifying sales opportunities, and expanding our client’s presence across key markets. Office-based in Reading (parking provided)
Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 5pm
Salary – £27k – £30k per annum depending on experience, plus bonus based on performance and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and expand customer opportunities that align with our client’s market positioning and product portfolio.
- Maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, understand their evolving needs, and provide strategic direction to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Drive and support project pipeline development.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions and resolve any supply chain or technical challenges.
- Stay informed on industry trends and technical advancements
- Troubleshoot and manage customer inquiries efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service at all times.
Key Skills:
- Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably within the food sector is advantageous.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to genuinely understand and address client needs.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer-first approach.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism, sound judgment, and a high degree of initiative.
- A quick learner with intellectual curiosity and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative, low-structure, and agile team culture.
- Strong follow-up and execution skills, with creativity and energy to drive results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a high level of dedication and accountability.
