Our client, a non for profit organisation based in the heart of Windsor, is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.

The successful candidate will assist in financial reporting and analysis to support effective decision making by the Senior Leadership and ensure that all balance sheet entries can be explained and are relevant and accurate. They will also ensure that tight month/year end deadlines are adhered to.

We are looking for someone part or fully qualified with relevant experience.

This role is hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 from home) and offers fantastic benefits.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily reconciliation and input of sales transactions from online booking system and accounting system (NetSuite)
  • Production of monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly International and UK VAT returns and reconciliations
  • Assist with UK Vat return (partial recovery)
  • Monthly variance analysis on allocated cost centres with adequate commentary
  • Business partnering with department heads
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliation, prepayments, accruals, deferred income, fixed assets, payroll and tax related accounts
  • Assisting with National Statistic reports and Annual Charity Commissioner submissions
  • Support with the production of year end statutory accounts and work with the auditors during their fieldwork.
  • Management of Accounts Assistant
  • Assisting with all transactional finance including accounts payable and accounts receivable during sickness or annual leave or where workloads dictate
  • Assist with a new accounting system project (OCR, Expense module, report writing etc.)

Person specification

  • Part qualified or fully qualified ACCA or CIMA with relevant experience
  • Experience in NetSuite highly desirable
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ownership for the delivery of accurate work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
