Fantastic opportunity to joi our client, a pioneering manufacturing company who design, make, install and maintain sustainable ventilation, cooling, heating and lighting solutions.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join their Design Team. Our client would consider a recent graduate or someone with experience in a similar role.

This position involves interfacing with our client’s technical consultants and sales representatives and also directly with clients including architects, consultants and contractors to prepare ventilation, heating, cooling and daylight solutions to suit a variety of buildings. The role requires the engineer to create proposals, including system types, quantities and pricing, using project specific information (such as drawings, schedules and specifications) provided by the client and also in accordance to UK/International building regulations and design criteria (e.g. CIBSE guidelines). After a project is ordered the engineer will confirm suitability with the latest project information and liaise with the client and our production department to ensure a timely delivery of the project.

This role is paying £25k – £33k (depending on experience) plus excellent benefits. Initially there will be no hybrid working, there may be potential for some hybrid working after successful completion of the probation period, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Duties include

  • Checking design and re-quoting to contractors at Tender stage
  • Working with our Sales team to find the optimum price and sales margin to secure the order
